It's sort of odd.

The Infirmary is not infected; there is no reason not to visit if you are feeling ill/have broken body parts/need drugs.

That being said, I suppose I can understand why one wouldn't go when needed. Haus does tend to become violent around children. Luckily, he doesn't actually treat any patients. That would be my job, and for those that don't ( Read more... )

Jogging is out of the question.

We are going to get complaints. Knock it off.

Oh no! NOT COMPLAINTS! I've never had a complaint before. Get me the smelling salts or I shall swoon!

*scrawled in what little space the parchment has left*

We don't have any smelling salts.

*added on another piece of parchment beneath the first*

I sincerely hope you enjoy unemployment. Which, I'm sure you would since you never do much anyway.

No, no, it never was. Which is what I said in the entry.

Are you sure?

Yes. I spend most of the day here and infection has not broken out. Maybe you should come down and look for yourself?

*cough* Hello, my name is Rosalind Montague. I heard that the new resident healer is a bit, how do you say...off his rocker? And I just needed something to help this ermm...cough. Is there a way to avoid him? Unreadable And stare into your eyes? Yummy!

And Petey, calm down. I'm sure the guy wouldn't lie to us.

Hello, Miss Montague, it's nice to meet you. The diagnostician, Haus, is a bit eccentric, but he is very much sane. I think.

It's a pleasure to meet you too. You think? Nothing personal here doc, but you may want to work on you skills of reassurance. I think more kids have gotten black and blue from walking around here and going to the Hospital wing than necessary...you may want to check on that instead of the cleanliness.

That? Yes, I've noticed that. And really, it won't be happening anymore that is, if a certain healer with a cane knows what's good for him-. Thank you, though.

Hi! I'm Riley McGranahan. I've met your partner there, and I must say he's a very entertaining man. I just hope you're sane enough to balance him out. I actually have been wanting to talk to one or both of you about my career. I want to be a Healer, you see, and I was wondering if you knew of any internships or such that I could do over the summer?

Hello, miss. I'm sorry that you've met him first.

So you know, being a healer can be very overwhelming. But I'd gladly help you with some options. I do believe there are internships at St. Mungos. If you're interested in being a receptionist or a go-to for a summer.

Don't be. Like I said, he entertains me. Granted he is rather odd. Wanted me to come teach him how to walk the dog. Seemed to think it was a medical emergency.

I'm interested in any sort of job St. Mungos can give me. I'll have to check it out and apply.

Nice to meet you as well. I'm almost glad that we've missed Quidditch season. It's the same way, too, when the professional season is over. Most of the teams get treated at St. Mungos, and it almost disturbs me to see how elated Haus is when he tells the Junior healers to re-set bones. Watch out, he could probably dodge a rock.

It isn't that he's nice, it's just that most of the time he's bored. Or avoiding work. Whichever. I suggest something he could slip on. And yes, I did. Would you mind if I asked why you were going through the store of potions when students are not allowed to touch them?
