After a quick shower and picking up his gifts for Riku, Sora made his way to sunset hill. He read over the note a few times hoping it would give some sort of clue to what Riku had planned, but of course it didn't. Not even a hint, that was just like him to drive Sora nuts 'til the very end. Though his ability to drive him so crazy was partly why he loved him so much.
His eyes snapped out of the little daze they had slipped into when the train pull into his stop, adjusting the bag over his shoulder and trying to shove the gift that was sticking out further in as he descended the stairs.when the gift that stuck out of the side started to slip it off his shoulder. Hope this was the right one... Wish I could tell if was too heavy or not. He fidgeted a bit nervously

Upon hearing the familiar voice call his name, Riku quickly but subtly shoved the necklace back into his pocket before flashing a grin at Sora. "Not really," he answered.
He took one of Sora's hands, then turned around so he was facing him. A laugh slipped past his lips when he saw the excited look on Sora's face. "You haven't been driving yourself crazy trying to figure out what I'm doing for you, have you?" he inquired, his grin transforming into a sly smirk.
"You know I have been you smug show off." Sora said, resting his lower back against the railing around sunset hill and brushes his thumb over the back of Riku's knuckles.
"Now you told me to wait until today and today is... TODAY!" Sora made a soft whine in his throat and tugged Riku's hands pulling him closer. "Now, spill it you tease." The impatient boy demanded playfully.
"Hm, I don't know... you're being awfully pushy," Riku teased.
He loved that Sora was so excited over him having something for him, and dragging it on just a little longer appealed to his amusement. Even if it risked him having to face the "ever-dreaded" big puppy-dog eyes and/or the pouty lip.
Sora felt his stomach drop a bit when they fell to the side off the railing and tightened his arms around Riku, his nails digging slightly into the boy's shoulder blades in reflex.
"Wow..." The boy looks out curiously. He wasn't very worried about the fall since with his power he could take the impact, he was more afraid of Riku getting hurt but he wasn't about to ruin their fun just yet. "The view is amazing Riku..." He says, starting to relax and looking out in awe at the lights of the city.
A laugh escaped him when Sora tightened his grip around him. "It's alright, Sora. I know what I'm doing," he assured. "You might feel better if you put your feet on mine." It'd help keep from feeling like there was nothing to support him up.
When his lover seemed to relax, he smiled. "Isn't it?"
"No... it wont feel like flying if my feet are grounded." Sora insisted as he leaned a bit away from Riku, letting the feeling of weightlessness sink in. "Mmhmm..." He murmurs softly. "Not going to starting singing 'A whole new world' are you?" Sora couldn't help but tease.
Their kiss muffled a soft laugh from Riku, who shifted his arm around Sora's shoulders as he drew closer. He slipped his tongue past the inviting lips to meet Sora's and softly brushed his thumb over his cheek.
A slight, gentle breeze had started to pick up, which actually felt nice to him. It had been getting warmer and more bearable outside lately, which he was endlessly appreciative of. Of course, Sora helped to keep him warm through the winter and vice versa, but the warmth of an oncoming spring was nice after unfamiliar weather.
Sora gave a little shiver when he felt the breeze and leaned closer to Riku, pressing his front to the other boy's and meeting Riku's tongue when he felt it slip in.
He leaned back towards the clock's face, just to keep from leaning forward over the edge. The arm around Riku's waist moving so his hand can move soothingly over the boy's back.
Riku shifted his arm lower from Sora's shoulders to his upper arm area to help keep him warm. He'd give him his hoodie, but he was sure neither of them wanted to pull away at the moment, so that could wait. As Sora started to lean back towards the clockface, Riku shifted a little so that his back was blocking most of the breeze from reaching his lover.
Sora smiled when he felt Riku pulling him in closer, his tongue tasting and brushing over Riku's own. His arms tightening around the slim waist as his back eventually pressed against the wall just under the clock's face. His hands moving up to grip lightly at Riku's shoulders, making a content sound in his throat.
"Addicted to me, huh? Looks like I'm going to need a lot of turtle necks this winter." He teasingly poked Riku's chest. "But would you honestly put me through the awkward explanations all summer? You know I'll just have to get you back for it later." He said cryptically.
Riku chuckled. "Oh, I don't know. When we first started seeing eachother you left some on my neck for me to try and hide-- I didn't get too many inquiries about it though," he said. "It's college, Sora, people know what those little bruises on your neck are." He winked.
"Hey we first started seeing each other around Christmas, you could have worn a turtle neck... you just like showing off." Sora said and made a face turning away a bit so Riku wont see the embarrassed flush at the boy's 'it's college' comment.
The last thing he wanted was for Riku to think he was a kid or too immature to handle there relationship. He'd been trying hard to suppress his childish reactions and habits but he couldn't seem to stop feeling embarrassed when a 'bruise' was pointed out, or when he'd pout despite how much he wanted to stop. Though now that it was a useful weapon he'd been slacking in that bit of training. "I know! I'm not a baby. I'm just not used to it is all..." He fiddled a bit with his fingers. "I never really liked getting those before, but with you... it's different. I just don't know how to react when Zack makes fun of it and I end up... embarrassing myself more." He mutters, looking away a little shyly.
Riku snorted softly, looking amused none-the-less. "Just say... 'up yours'," he said with a short laugh and a, "I'm kidding."
"Anyway, if it bothers you, I won't do it. Simple," he told him in a more serious tone. If it made him that embarrassed, he didn't want to keep doing it. Though, he did find it somewhat amusing that out of all of the things in their relationship, Sora got embarrassed about a hickie. At this point, Riku was fighting with his very being not to laugh. Or snicker. Or grin.
As if following Riku's train of thought Sora seemed to catch something thing the boy's look and kisses him softly. "I'm sure mom will let you stay with us for our visit. It's just if I tell her about us, she'll probably have you sleep on the couch downstairs the whole time." He laughed softly.
"Hm...? Our secret spot?" Sora was silent for a moment before remembering the cave with the chalk drawings. "Oh! Heh, even if they did, they're probably still too scared to go inside. I remember Tidus and Wakka always saying they were totally going to go in there, like they'd be the first but always chicken out at the last second saying there was a monster in there." His lips turn up into a smirk as his eyes look up to the stars Riku had earlier seemed so interested in.
Riku smiled softly and chuckled. "Not if we don't tell her until we're about to come back here," he suggested. He couldn't exactly say he blamed Sora's mother, but he hardly wanted to be separated from his boyfriend.
"Heh... probably that damn Paopu Beast terrorizing 'em again," he teased, bringing up the old myth he'd used to scare a certain few gullible friends of his.
"Oh? Can't stand to be apart from me a few nights?" Sora gave a silly grin. "I suppose if you'll go insane without me sleeping next to you I can prolong telling."
He let out a laugh at the little nickname. "That damn paopu-beast. If it's not breaking into my house it's lurking in my caves, scaring my friends!" The boy wrapped his arms around one of Riku's and rested his head on the boy's shoulder eventually drifting into thoughts of home.
With a laugh, he watched the invisible path before them as they walked. "Hey, I only scared them once-- just because I happened to be in there. The rest of the time, it was all in their head," he said, playfully defensive. Either way, it had been funny as hell. He smiled down at Sora again. "Homesick?"
