It takes time to find a balance...you don't want to cut them out of your life but you want to give them space...particularly if you became heartbroken in the process.

I am sorry for intruding but it is a topic I myself have dealt with recently.

I would suggest perhaps finding something to take your mind off the matter, when went through this training was an outlet as was dedicating myself to understanding more about this world...there is still much I don't understand having been born so long ago.

Still...understand that they could very well be feeling the same way...if you truly believe that this is the only way to make things right then you must be strong...but know that sometimes the harder path, the one that brings you more pain and suffering will in time make you stronger. The closer to the fire you get...the more tolerance you will build.

There's going to be a bit of tension, but the best way is to attack the problem as soon as possible without letting it linger. If you let the problem linger, then that awkwardness will be difficult to handle in the long end.

I'd talk to him when you're ready and sure that you're able to handle a discussion like that. If you need any help on how to deal with it, I'm at the Hyperion and will be for a good, long while.

And now would be when I should be listening to my own advice. ...Wonder where he is, by the way.
