Thanks man. Actually, I exaggerate--I've some idea what we're doing. It's more the parental expectation that's stressful. There's this script that the upper-middle class follows which includes a teenage Transition of some kind. I'm all for it, having read Joseph Campbell and all, but there's this expectation that whether the kids are ready for the commitment, they'll do it anyway 'cause mom and dad say so. That's not a real commitment.
So, I guess there's a little stress over the content, but more over people's general obliviousness.
