Things are really starting to get crazy for me. In the next two weeks, I'll have to turn in all my work for all three of my classes and I'll have to grade a pile of ten really thick chemical engineering reports. I've known this for a while now, but I guess coming back from the long weekend makes it all suddenly feel real ( Read more... )

Um, that sounds great. Actually, it looks great--that picture makes me all drooly. If you want to do it after I'm officially completely finished with school stuff, I could do it anytime after December 15th. Well, I might still have a bit of TA stuff to do at that point, but hopefully I'll be pretty much done with the stressful stuff. I could also do it earlier if that would work better, maybe after one of my big due dates as a bit of a break/reward.

Duh, me. I just noticed the dates are 12/8 and 12/9. I have a big due date on the 8th, so maybe the 9th would work.

Thanks, sweetcakes. So far things are shaping up pretty ok. I feel a lot more prepared than I did when you were here around midterms, which really helps.

LPTJ is one of the few really good spaces I've found so far. So I did know about it, but it's really good that you mentioned it, because it's not like I'm such a huge Mountain Goats person that you'd necessarily expect me to know about it for sure. Better safe than sorry. And like I said, it's probably the best source I've found so far.

So, thanks. And if you or Robert have any other tips, do let me know.

man, i wish i could think of some dang forums. i know i've heard of a bunch of them, but i'm not sure which would really be helpful. i know we have livejournal friends that are into that stuff. i know elbo.ws has a lively forum, but i don't really know what the atmosphere there is like. you might give it a go, though.

let me know if you ever need somebody to whisk you away for pizza or puffy tacos or something while you're busy working. and holler if you need grammary/edity help with those chem e papers.

I'll check out elbo.ws for sure. Thanks, cutie.

There is a VERY high likelihood that I will need to be whisked away at some point or other.
