Allaine's Blogtalk Radio show (don't know how factoid it is vs. fanfic discussion): http://www.blogtalkradio.com/allaine/2009/09/04/womens-murder-club (as an aside, ever notice that the announcer at the beginning appears to be saying "Lost hope radio," at least to American ears?)
Short version - four women, solve crimes using their respective skills. Two primary 'ships Lindsay(cop)/Cindy (reporter), Lindsay/Jill(lawyer n best friend) neither are canon.
Heh, thanks! That was very succinct. So there's *nothing* in the show to suggest anything other than hetero relationships for these women? Nothing in the books, either?
Pretty much - Claire (the ME) is married with children, Jill (the DA) is the highly flirtatious one with commitment issues, Lindsay (the cop) is a divorcee who is too busy with her career (hence the divorce) and towards the end of the show has a love interest of sorts (male), and Cindy (the reporter) is the 'Jimmy Olsen-like' youngster who appears to be in hero-worship of Lindsay whilst trying to become a 'real' reporter. Most fanfic types, however, see a whole lot of closeness btwn Lindsay & Cindy, but its prolly just our rainbow-coloured sunglasses, yeah? :)
