I would assume he's saying the word "I love you" is like or is actually the snow (hence the white and melting away)

6:
あと何度君に 会えるなんて
数かぞえても 分からなくて

I still don't know how many days I can see you
Even though I count the days

This is a great translation! \:D/

3. Ah, that would make sense. I just didn't know if it was some kind of expression or something they randomly came up with.

6. Oooh, I think I get it now. Thank you. I just couldn't put those lines together somehow.

Thank you! :D

Actually, "I don't know how many times I can see you" would make better sense then it won't get so awkward with the repetition XD; Or something~ XDD;;

Thank you so much for translating! Out of the three songs they payed at recomen, this is my favorite <3 It's as pretty as I thought it would be (RyoYasu bias, anyone?).

You're welcome! I really like this one too. Ryo and Yasu both write such pretty lyrics.

aaah finally a good translation! ^__^
I had some points in my german translation I couldn't resolve yet...
however seeing this, makes me think: "Oh damn this is actually so logical, and still you didn't get it..whyyy" XD

thanks a lot for this ♥

btw...the fluttering about thing...made me all crazy too XD
I would guess it's not meant word for word (oh really? XD)..but could it be..that it's just meant like
fltuttering about in the night sky = you are reachable, close to me..blahblah..exist just next to the speaker
so maybe could be "transfered" to the last lines too..like
"until the season when you are at my side" I could be totally wrong though XDDD too subjective

When I stuck at that point I was always wondering...
is that "you" just "snow"? But then...how can snow laugh at you...so I decided..can't work at all xDDDD

Isn't it always like that with translations, that something will be impossible to figure out and then once someone tells you what it means, it seems really obvious? XD

I thought the fluttering in the night sky was probably just talking about the snow. So, the speaker is standing outside in the snow and thinking about a lost love. And since the lost love is the Snow White in the title, the snow is sort of symbolic too. (That's how you can tell Yasu was involved in writing this song: confusing symbolism.) So the ending would mean something like "until the season when you come to me like the snow is now". It's just hard to get that across in one line of translation.

These lyrics have lots of room for interpretation, so...whatever makes sense to you, I guess. XD

yes it is o.o

oh damnit..I guess in case I wrote an essay about the song I would totally fail.
But it's true..otherwise it doesn't make sense why it's called snow white. Speaking of interpretation..in any way there should be at least a connection to the title. xD so my strategy failed...too bad that translations allready have an own interpretation included...XD

As for yasu and his symbolism I have no clue about that. XD
Since there are a lot of people translating stuff anyway, it's nice to go the lazy way and just read their translated versions. (Maybe a lot easier than getting a headache by the meanings)

Good enough that pop songs are most of the time about topics which are easier to handle like love..so..it could be worse ^^"

Well, there's a lot of room for interpretation because the lyrics aren't that specific, but here is what this song made me think: these two people had a very romantic love that they swore would go on forever, but for some reason it didn't. A lot of time has passed since then and the speaker is looking back fondly on their time together, but he also wants her back and is wishing that that could happen, even if it probably can't. So even though he's sad that she's gone, he still remembers the good things and still has hope that she'll come back, so it's not entirely depressing. (If you want to think that the girl died, then it's more depressing, but it's up to you if you want to look at it like that. It doesn't say specifically what happened ( ... )

Thanks for your reply :), i didn't mean that you have to be thinking in those specific ideas i wrote about :) i know that's impossible to do so, particularly in translations & languages field , but i was just assuming some of it as exchanging of thoughts ^ ^

i didn't mean to narrow the possibilities at all, actually i want to expand it ^ ^

those were the ideas that came cross my mind during reading & translating the song,i know that's there were no details but it was only feelings .

and i share your thoughts about the love story by the way :) ( the death part came to me from the last line in the song,it felt somehow romantic more than sad !)

and thanks for explaining the knaji part to me :)

thanks again for your patience & sorry for disturbing :o

regards
