Well, there's a lot of room for interpretation because the lyrics aren't that specific, but here is what this song made me think: these two people had a very romantic love that they swore would go on forever, but for some reason it didn't. A lot of time has passed since then and the speaker is looking back fondly on their time together, but he also wants her back and is wishing that that could happen, even if it probably can't. So even though he's sad that she's gone, he still remembers the good things and still has hope that she'll come back, so it's not entirely depressing. (If you want to think that the girl died, then it's more depressing, but it's up to you if you want to look at it like that. It doesn't say specifically what happened.)

What I think about songs like this is that we'll probably never know what exactly they had in mind while writing it, if they even had a specific scenario in mind, so you just have to use your imagination. There's no one right answer, so even if you interpret it differently from me, your idea could also be right.

The "ai" in that line is a different kanji (相 vs. 愛), so the meaning is completely different. "ai mo kawarazu" means "the same as ever" or "as usual".

Thanks for your reply :), i didn't mean that you have to be thinking in those specific ideas i wrote about :) i know that's impossible to do so, particularly in translations & languages field , but i was just assuming some of it as exchanging of thoughts ^ ^

i didn't mean to narrow the possibilities at all, actually i want to expand it ^ ^

those were the ideas that came cross my mind during reading & translating the song,i know that's there were no details but it was only feelings .

and i share your thoughts about the love story by the way :) ( the death part came to me from the last line in the song,it felt somehow romantic more than sad !)

and thanks for explaining the knaji part to me :)

thanks again for your patience & sorry for disturbing :o

regards
