I'm not sure Borden cares as much about her loyalties now as he did... before. Reasons why kept out for spoilers, of course. Although the longer it goes on, the antsier he'll probably get, given him.
Didn't Robert/Rupert call her Livia, or was that just Jackman? And he certainly sounded American, although again that could just be Jackman not having Bale's chameleon-voice for accent. That man is creepy. He'll call her Olive, just because.
I'm not sure what he's doing either. The magic has kind of gone out of his life. He has to find his feet, and that will be very hard. The money in trust to his daughter, though, should at least keep a roof over their heads and food on their table for a while, even if he can't go home.
Heh, Jackman's accent always comes across indecipherable to me. He's got one of those voices I can tell is not actually American but can't tell what it actually is unless he's speaking as himself and not in any sort of character.
*pets them both* I'm not quite sure what a woman in that time who'd only ever been a performer could do. *eyes her*
I started watching the Batman Begins behind the scenes stuff just to try and hear what his real accent sounds like? And he's gone American again. Traces of somewher ein the UK? But mostly American, damn him. I want to hear his real accent. Which is probably closer to Borden than Bruce Wayne.
I'm not sure either? Except, courtesan. Which. Heh.
I think I recall hearing Bale's real accent AGES ago, when he was younger and starting out. And thinking "awww, pretty."
What is he? Welsh?
And heh, yeah. I was thinking along that line for Olivia. But I'm poking around at history to see what sort of options there'd have been, because she WAS smart and resourceful. But courtesan... hee. She may end up that way. Honestly, in the book? They make *her* deliberately seduce Borden in a less subtle fashion than she does, and he was totally onto it the whole time. I like the movie version who may have also been fully intent on sleeping with him but made it a little subtle, played up her vulnerability rather than just making a move on him.
