FPK:

Things that are different in the book that I'm using for my Olivia:

- the name -- she was "Olive" Wenscombe to Borden, and Olivia Svenson to Angier. Wenscombe is her mother's maiden name. Up to Borden's player if he'd call her that - I assume at some point he knew Olive was just a nickname. I can see it going either way, and the movie didn't harp on what he called her, so. I think Olive is cute? But don't actually mind either way. :D

... that's pretty much the only thing different, really. Oh, and she calls Angier "Robbie" even though his real name's "Rupert", but he was going by "Robert" in America anyway so. In book canon he was a disinherited Lord who went to America for a while, I think in the movie he was American? Whatever, Olivia calls people what she feels like calling them unless they ask her not to.

Other stuff I'm playing differently about her is just fleshed out detail, not actual changes.

I assume she was questioned at length about both men during the investigation into Angier's death. Her loyalties... heh. She's being secretive with me. I know where her loyalties lie, but she doesn't feel like making that even OOCly public knowledge. *g* I'll say this: she either defended them both or betrayed them both, depending on how you look at it.

Book canon made her a dancer before she became either one's assistant, I'll leave that in place as it's as good an excuse as any. I am... not sure what she's trying to find work as, now. She tells me she's a little bit tired of performing, but it's all she knows.

La. Need to see movie again. Now.
