I've seen online ads, I've seen it in the paper, I've seen posters, I even inexplicably received an e-mail from 20th Century Fox telling all about Horton Hears a WhoAm I in the movie's target demographic? Maybe they think Dr Seuss has a "retro" appeal? The fashion here is currently straight out of the 80s, and the shops have been flooded with Rainbow Bright and Care Bear t-shirts. Even the music is starting to get an 80s feel to it.
I get the feeling that they’re trying to sell us our childhood back.
