What kind of bird are you looking to get a cage for?

I do not know yet, I'm not planning on anything for a while so I am open to ideas, just doing research for now... I do like caiques, the smaller macaws, and the pyhurra(?) conures.

If you're interested in even more options, dusky conures are an aratinga conure which combine some of the best parts of aratingas and pyhurras both. They're not particularly common in aviculture in the US, but I'm really glad I stumbled across mine. :)

gotchya! Well I see your in NC and if you're ever in the Greensboro area, you should stop by Stephie's Birds. She's got all of those birds at her store right now that you could come and play with, just so you can get a feeling for them and each of their quirks. They are all great birds, but very different from one another.

There are two "EFC" cages, the HQ finch to conure flight cage, and the AE finch to conure flight cage. The former has two doors in the front, the latter only one. There's also a double HQ flight, twice as wide. As described, the EFC is good for finches through most conures, though some individual conure sized parrots may be capable of and interested in popping the welds, so these individuals should get a stronger cage. The two that you linked have a larger bar spacing (5/8") so are not appropriate for small sized birds (could escape) and I think also not middle sized birds such as most conures, caiques, Quakers, cockatiels, ring necked parakeets, or Hahn's macaws (mid sized birds could get their heads stuck between bars, and this could be fatal).
