Bird Suggestions Please!!!
Hi!
I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of months after MagicalMartha sent me the link because I have been talking about how I want to get a bird. Within the next year or so I'm going to be getting an apartment and will be able to make this happen. I would like to be super prepared and have researched everything beforehand so, I would love it if you guys would help me out with thinking about which types of birds I should consider!
I'm going to be living in an apartment so noise is a factor. Also I would like a companion that can be with me most of of the time when I am at home, so canaries and the like are kinda out because to me they seem somewhat like fish with feathers. Very pretty to look at but don't want a friend. I totally love Quakers but the internet seems to tell me that they probably don't make the best "apartment birds" which makes me super sad because they are so adorable :( I have also looked up Parrotlets, which are super cute! I'm concerned about them being too tiny though. MagicalMartha has a green cheek named Dizzy who is super cute! What does everyone think? What types am I not considering? What do you think would be the best for me?
