This is 9,000% the greatest thing I have read on the internet in weeks and I feel like I read an outrageous number of things on the internet. My favorite bit is:
It makes him laugh, thinking about that first time, her 'I'm going to pretend you didn't just say that, Harry' and his protestations, the whole thing devolving into laughter and deep, wet kisses and another round.
Because it practically tells a whole new, complementary story, all fleshed out and everything, in just a sentence.
(That said, it was really hard to pick a favorite bit. I'm sure I've said it before, but your Harry and Hermione are my favorite in all of fandom, and I think that's because it's so close to what I think we could've had for canon, if things had gone a different way. Looking back over that thought, I'm not entirely sure it makes sense the way I wrote it. Basically: you're the best!)
We can have a mutual appreciation society, since your Penny/Sheldon was my favorite. (Remember when Big Bang Theory was, you know, good? And funny? Sigh.) Thanks, man. I, too, read an outrageous number of things on the internet, so that is quite the compliment. *g*
Truth - I bunged that sentence in at the very end. He just said 'I love you' and that was it and it just felt...weird and unfinished. And now I kind-of want to write that first time.
What is up with me and Potter lately?
I just...love Harry and Hermione and that's how they are in my head. How they've always been. And this is going to sound totally snobby, but that's probably why I never actually read any Potter fic. I try and try and try and just. I have a very hard time finding any that I enjoy. Which is probably why I continue to write it. *g*
That doesn't sound snobby at all, because you're parkergray -- THE H/Hr fic writer for most of us. And for that, we thank you for not reading any other Potter fic ^_^
The first line popped into my head in the shower and when I started, I thought it was going to be nice and sweet, then Harry kept descending and, well. Who I am to stop him?

No idea where it came from. I'm in the middle of a slightly ridiculous thing and another totally angsty thing, but this walloped me last night.
Glad you enjoyed it!
