Reading the replies and extra history, it sounds to me like you shouldn't even be thinking this question. It belongs to the guy and your boss.

But, off the top of my head, it sounds to me like your boss is not just making him pay for what he did to you, she's also making him pay for him letting her do it to you - that she feels he should've said something to her, or he deliberately deceived her into thinking he was pulling his weight or something. And so he's not paying for the crime of hurting you so much as for turning her into his unwitting accomplice.

Because I'll forgive wounds inflicted against me. I'll apologise for wounds I inflict unjustly. But I will never, EVER forgive someone who uses me to inflict wounds on another. That person can walk barefoot over broken glass and I'll cheerfully smash my cup on the ground in front of them.
