Jongup doesn't always agree to everything. Sometimes he feels like he does, but most of the time he just goes along with things because it's easier. He doesn't want to get into fights with his friends, his family. He'd rather do something he didn't necessarily want to do than to fight about it. Sometimes, of course, he doesn't feel that way, but most of the time he does. And, most of the time, he doesn't even feel strongly one way or the other. He's happy like this, really.
The problem is other people.
They always want something from him. They want to know what he's thinking. They want to know his opinion. Sometimes, if he has an opinion, he'll share it. But most of the time he can't be bothered. He's more interested in what other people have to say. He knows where he stands and that's enough for him.
Of course, his friends get frustrated. They yell at him, ask him to come up with ideas instead of just agreeing with them all time. He tries, he really does, but all of his ideas fall flat and in the end he just shrugs and they go back to not asking him.
He feels like he should resent it, but he doesn't. It would require too much effort. And, if he's honest, when he doesn't want to do something, he'll make sure it's known. But, more often than not, he does want to do stuff. He doesn't mind going along with everyone else.
If only people just understood that. Then he wouldn't be constantly explaining himself. Of course, when he tried to explain that, everyone just stared at him. It's easier, he knows for sure, to just go along with everyone else. If they can't handle it, well, that's their problem.
