Well, possibly not The Secret, The Ultimate, but a pretty good secret of life nevertheless. The secret is this: It is almost impossible to cook something un-tasty with paprika. I'm coming to suspect that paprika may be the miracle ingredient that almost guarantees tasty savory food (I mean, no, I wouldn't put paprika on ice cream or anything

A bit of paprika mixed into a really fine vanilla, yeah, I could see that.
