And, now for your daily dose of random news:

Same-sex marriage ban fails to get even 50% of the votes in the Senate. They needed 2/3 of the votes to send it to on to the House, then the States. Next time, Bush Jr., try some real leadership instead of discrimination in order to raise support for your political friends.

YW. I tend to read these types of articles, but not post them because they depress & frustrate me so much. On one hand, I would love to drop everything & go out there to directly help out. But, on the other hand, progressing in my education might one day let me do something to make a huge difference & once I get a good income, I can donate to causes like this. I just wish politicians would serious look at environmental/global issues instead of worrying about wars & capitalism, so much.

Yeah, Paradise, MI is a nice day trip too. I think the outdoor stuff (hiking, etc.) is actually better in Hell, MI. But, if you want a nice small resturant & inn for a romantic getaway, then Paradise, MI is a must.

There is also a Climax, MI, but I've never visited that city.

oh, you've been there? Cool. I wonder if the town's sign says: Welcome to Hell.

What? Climax? What an interesting state...

I think I have a pic of the Welcome to Hell sign, but here's the side of a building there that is pretty infamous.

It seems like those have been the two things everyone has been talking about today. That and the stock market mini-crash.
