My other half has started NutriSystem. Because of this, I feel somewhat obligated to eat healthier as well even though it's just me. Chicken every night it seems. But I can surprisingly find many ways of cooking chicken that aren't entirely healthy. And don't get me started on side dishes.

I’m not outwardly political, but there are many things that I feel pretty strongly about. It’s no secret I’m liberal in my views, but I often wonder how I ended up with parents that turned out to be uber-conservative. Especially when their opinions sound like soundbites from Fox News.

I'm going to apply to grad school to get an MBA. I’m kind of terrified of this next step, even though I realize it’s really a necessity if I want to be able to move up or move onward in my career. • frasier came back; we trapped him and amazing he was in one piece, just a little dehydrated and skinnier
• my parents came to visit and it was the most stressful week of my life
• work got more stressful somehow, even though they hired someone new for the other position i have

frasier ran away on wednesday sometime. i came home to find the third floor door open, not sure how, and both cats gone. i found blue, but no frasier. he's still missing and hasn't turned up at the pound yet. i'm so sad.

it's my birthday!!! (on the east coast until 2 hours and 15 minutes from now, but it still counts!)

so....i bought a car today. i feel so adult. almost like the moving several times, having full time jobs, being engaged...nothing matters in terms of adulthood because i never had to feel like i was signing my life away for the payments. merry christmas/happy birthday to me! yay!
