I went by my vets office to schedule the surgery. The office manager told me that my vet will not be the one performing the surgery, that it would be her boss (the owner of the animal hospital.) I told her I was cool with that. She then told me that since Herm is 9, the vet wouldn't perform the surgery without an EKG (which is an extra $50.) I was ( Read more... )

I'm sure, all of it'll work out perfectly! 9 is no age at all!!! You'll have Herm back healthy again and both of you will be happy together!

Me too! I'll shortly be taking her in for her pre-surgery blood screening so we're all like "stop running away Herm, come back. I promise that the trip to the vet will be quick. Where are you hiding? Hermioooooneeeeeee!"

First, I must know what happened with Mr. Marley? :(

Then let me say that all 3 are like cat models! Some of those pics were truly cat book worthy for real. And although I don't play faves, I'm hearting Mr. Pickles right now (probably cause I've always wanted an all black cat.)

mr marley is in some stage of renal failure or getting there. he's on meds but he's a tiny sick kitty. =( he was mine but he stayed with my parents when i moved so he's their cat now and he loves them. mom said she can't sit down without him napping on her.

aw, thank you so much! i keep forgetting to post so i'm trying to do better. mr pickles is a shameless snugglehog and charming fat cat. i want him to be legendary! he's sweet and ridiculously spoiled. as he grows up his whiskers have turned white and it's just adorable.

I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Marley, I know how it is to have a really sick cat :( I hope the meds keep him from suffering. *hugs and love* to Mr. Marley!
