It had been a few days since Scarlet had met up with that little bombshell wannabe, and Scarlet was hardly impressed with her situation. Not only had she had to entertain herself during those periods, but there had been some inconvenient earthquake that had shaken the whole place up. It had taken all of her skills to make certain her little pet project had remained safe.
It had been fortunate that her extra personal bank account had remained filled. Otherwise the past few days would have been far more tedious than they already were. She'd bought a few things to tide her over. A new bag to keep her personal belongings in, cigarettes, and a few little odds and ends to tinker around with until her transport was ready.
"It will take more than a few shaking rocks to injure me," Scarlet said with a haunting edge to her voice. Her entire demeanour shifted into a feel of smooth seduction; however, as she patted the side of her large red bag and smiled at the Turk. "I'm all set whenever you are."
So things never seemed to go the way they ought to go. And escorting Scarlet to Junon was hardly what one could call a pleasant outing. And what with the only transport she'd had gone - and she was curious to know if it was still en-route with President and with little trouble - it meant that so far they had traveled on foot. But, on the outskirts of Edge, the thought of walking the rest of the way was daunting. It was no way for a Turk - much less a woman of Scarlet’s standing - should have to endure.
Scarlet was tougher than she looked, at least physically. Of course, as Elena knew fully well, anything related to Shinra was tougher than it had to appear. How else could Shinra keep its reputation? Giving an understanding nod, she pulled out the vibrating cellphone in her pocket. Flipping the screen open, she read the message left to her with an increasing rise in her blood pressure. So they were off to Gongaga now? That was a continent over! There was no way to get over there without a boat. Or an airship."Well, it appears that our

"Gongaga?" Scarlet simply rose an eyebrow at the mention of their new destination. "What's next, he'll force us out into the field to tend the damn wheat." There was a definite irritating tone in her voice as she spoke, and without a second thought, Scarlet withdrew a cigarette and lighter from her bag before lighting it up.
Exhaling a thin stream of smoke, she waved Elena off dismissively as she lightly snapped, "Well get to it. I refuse to travel by boat if I must go to that backwater hick-town."
After a fast call, she clicked the phone closed and tucked it into her jacket pocket. While she wanted to apologize for the inconvience, it was Scarlet that rose from the dead and came to the attention of Rufus Shinra. If anything, going after the previous Head had been an inconvienence on Elena.
"Transport is on its way, and it won't be by boat. We're not to move from this spot until it arrives."
