A Clear Pattern
It is completely obvious to me that I only seek out this journal when I am really struggling to bring the meaning out in my writing. Work
Well, I'm supposed to be working. Why is it that when I have any amount of work to do, and for a deadline, I would be quite happy writing fanfic and learning about completely unrelated subjects to my course? Easter
It's snowing here! I haven't seen snow at Easter since around 1994, and that was the other side of the country. It seems more like Christmas than Easter, especially when, IIRC, it was fairly warm last Easter. It's nice to see, though and I have been having fun laughing at the men across the road that are having a drunken snowball fight. -
Seminar
I'm supposed to be working down here in the Library, of course I'm hanging around on here instead. I've got to produce a lecture for history tomorrow and it has taken me three days to sort out. How do lecturers do this? It's probably the experience they have in their subject and in lecturing itself. Let's just say that I will be very pleased to get ( Read more... ) -
Finished!
I am amazed. I handed all of my work in a day early and so far have received good marks. Of course there are aspects of my work that need to be addressed, such as giving myself enough time to complete the work in and do a good job, but overall I'm very pleased. Only one more assignment to come back and I hope that I have passed that one as well ( Read more... ) -
How to avoid studying... well, anything at all!
Right, I have fourteen days to get all of my work in, but have lost the will to do anything other than go onto Facebook or read Fifth Doctor fanfic. Why can I find the motivation to do that and not my work ( Read more... ) -

I sat down to attempt to read one of the driest books that I have ever had the misfortune to pick up.
