Woot on Nano! I totally understand the appeal of something you love. It's much easier to make this insane drive when you like what you're writing. ;)

I fully support you watching Buffy.

LOL my sister has been after me FOREVER. Absolutely loves Buffy beyond reason. I am trying to get her to watch Supernatural, since I am giving in to Buffy. :)

Yes--this ms was the one I started w/GYWO. Got the first 30k in and it sat for over a year, untouched. This will NOT happen again. TWO YEARS is PITIFUL.

Yeah, but it is A HUGE PROJECT! Mine is just a little ol' romantic suspense novel. So you get a wee bit more time...

My kid hated the movie for Goblet of Fire si much that he gave up
on the franchise and won't see it. Sigh. He also won't go see Tangled
or Megamind with me and there us nothing else showing around here. Stomps foot! I want to go to a movie today!!

Awww oh Tangled, my daughter wants to go see too. I had not heard of it until she told me and then there was a commercial! What!? LOL.

yeah--it is nice having a daughter so into such movies. But then, she is moving far far away, waahhh.

Kudos where it's due for 50k. I seem to be stuck in a rut with ideas that beg to be put down on paper but never get beyond the lying in bed and daydreaming phase.

Haven't seen my muse since his birthday in February. He was always good at unbalancing me enough to want to write and in his absence I've fallen back on the easy excuse of photography for taking up my time.

Buffy was always a regimented pleasure - I had a friend who'd make a point of asking me about the last episode aired so I always felt obliged to watch it. (She's no longer with us, and the world is a less vital place without her, but I can't watch a rerun without thinking of her and grinning at how much she adored it.)

I seem to be stuck in a rut with ideas that beg to be put down on paper but never get beyond the lying in bed and daydreaming phase. This has long, long, LONG been my problem, quite honestly. It has been a difficult process to calm my brain enough to focus on ONE thing. I have alot of incentive for this one though--it is more than likely a sure-sell (spinoff from my previous book with Loose-Id) and dammit, I need the money. Flat out ( ... )

You need a secretary to type for you, or Dragon Naturally Speaking. Happy Thanksgiving to you and the kidlets!
