Night 3/3
A night passes between Night 2 and Night 3, the ghouls have sickeningly decreased in numbers and an eerie shadow lingers over Paradise for a quiet night. There are no signs of new ghouls or zombies on that night of peace, in fact there wasn't even indication that there were any left lingering, well outside the city. The only ones left were the ones inside the city, but even those have been weakened from starvation and their numbers thinning from that which haunts them.
Night 3 is upon us now, and with it comes a monster that cares not so much for food than the need to kill.
The Reapers
They will hunt through the shadows, they will kill every living thing that breathes. They listen for the pulse of your heartbeat and track you better by the acceleration of that beat. Your fear of them will have them find you faster. They do not hear words, nor screams, just heartbeats. They are solely there to eradicate the noise. However they no longer feel the need to feed, and this gives you opportunity to survive their reign - if you can last long enough before they utilize all their energy. They do not have the patience for doors or windows, for they are in such desperation for the kill they rather move on from the obstacle in track of another heartbeat.
[ooc: For the love of your character, get them inside and shut the door. Make sure there are no holes in the buildings, that there are no doors left open, for they will find a way in should you provide it for them. As stated, these things will not eat your character, they will not toy with them. They will kill them by the fastest means possible. The reapers will last a week, in game time before they all die of exertion. Your character will needed to have at least killed fifteen or more ghouls in order to successfully kill a reaper. Make sure you have updated the kill counts with your character's kills!
Night 3 will end August 6, this is in order to make sure everyone has ample time to wrap up Night 2 and to enjoy the first night of Night 3. However, August 6 only ends the duration of Night 3 and past that night your characters will still have to endure a full "in-game" week with the reapers. This does not necessarily mean that the week equals a full week in Real Time, in fact the week will end August 10. However, this will remain pending on whether or not a way will be revealed to rid Paradise of the re-animated.
