[It took nearly a week, but finally Grant woke up from the sick-enduced coma that had taken over his body after the zombie bite. Thankfully when he'd woken up the doctors at the clinic had already worked on him well and he was no where near the pain he was in when he lost consciousness. Still weak and drowsy, but no longer feeling sick to the mind and stomach. The place where the zombie bit him on his arm had turned to the color of an average bruise, disgustingly purple and green, but 'normal' all the same. And even better, his skin was a healthy shade instead of the deathly pale it had been before.
The doctors informed him that he could leave, but he wasn't going to feel one hundred percent for a few days. That didn't matter to him though. He was alive, and he needed to make sure all was well with everyone else. God. He'd been unconscious for nearly five days. So he sat on the end of the medical cot and took out his NOC to type the best his fuzzy mind would allow him to.]

I apologize for my long absence. It would seem bites from the undead are extremely...lethal. I wouldn't recommend attempting it. But I'm well enough to stand and leave the clinic now. What's the status of the town, the zombies? Is everyone alright?

Ma'am, I have long since located and acquired your crystals. I apologize for taking this long to report back to you on it. On my way back to headquarters I was confronted by the zombies and had to seek help from the clinic. I still have the crystals and can get them to you at your convenience.
