So make the best of this test, and don't ask why

Did you hear, did you hear? Have you heard the news?

Didn't we warn you kids to stay hydrated? It looks like there have been two cases of dehydration so far, but fortunately it's being handled. Still, that's pretty scary!

At least the teachers had a meeting today, hopefully to resolve some of the students' concerns. The teachers talked about what was going on with the dehydrated students. They have set up health checks for Monday morning! Be sure to attend when your name is called!

Meanwhile, students should keep an eye on their fellows. Keep an eye out for warning signs, too. Moodiness? Previous illness? ...Change in personality?

Do you think your character will stay away from the illness that's spreading? Or will they stay healthy? More details under the cut!

----------

...Okay, listen. It looks like Paradisa is up to its old tricks again. What others are shrugging off as a simple case of dehydration is actually a lot more than it seems. Sadly, it's just the start of it. Haven't you noticed that water is a hot commodity now? More and more people are taking the healthy route and drinking it like it's going out of style, but are they really just doing it to be healthy?

Welcome, Paradisa, to the actual plot.

Over the next few days, the subtle differences you noticed in a select few characters is going to spread. It won't just be a few, it will be many. The most concerning part of all of this is the fact that whatever it is that's causing all of this, it has spread to the teachers.

All of them.

And guess what? It's not going to stop there, it's going to continue spreading. Until every last person in Anytown and Paradisa have been affected. Unless you stop it.

Here's what's been revealed so far:

- Discovery: Jilly & Billy found a dried, unidentifiable creature. Upon further investigation in Clark's lab, they found that it comes alive when wet, can multiply, and has teeth.
-Hardison and Ino were found in total states of dehydration, and were taken to the hospital. More importantly, the unidentifiable creature from earlier? Was found near Hardison.
-Zeke, the new kid in school, is acting like he knows what's going on. Does he really have answers?

Now. Here's what's actually going on:

-There's an infestation. The unidentifiable creature is an alien.
-This alien survives in water. The human body is made of up about 60% water, so the aliens are using the bodies of the victims as hosts.
-That's why everyone is chugging water. As the alien soaks their water, they need to constantly replenish it.
-Anyone infected can spread this. In the ear, mouth, sometimes even through the skin itself.
-As an added bonus, the alien takes over the host body, which alters the personalities of those infected. They retain their memories, but their personalities get flipped upside down.

This is where you all come in. Over the next couple of days, more and more is going to be revealed about the nature of these aliens, who is infected, and how you can stop them. But we need volunteers!

Come Monday, with a handful of students and all of the teachers already infected, this is bound to spread. Want your character to be among the infected? We're looking for any number of volunteers to allow their characters to become infected.

Those who do not wish to be infected will remain clean, and ultimately will work together to take down this infection before it consumes the residents of Paradisa.

Think you're up to the challenge? Want your character to fight this thing, or fall victim to it? IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, please leave a comment to this entry:

Comments WILL be screened. Let's keep up the suspense and ultimate paranoia!

VERY IMPORTANT! No spoilers from those that might have figured everything out. Let's keep this going like the great mystery it has been!
