December 24th - Early Morning to Late Afternoon ]

Having plans with Elektra for Christmas had been the plan back in the castle. However, now that they were in Paris things had shifted slightly. He should've realized that things wouldn't go as planned, but he had hoped for some consistencies through the holiday. Apparently, the only consistency is the fact that people would be kissing each other in some sort of odd forced friendly, sometimes overly friendly, gesture.

For the moment, Oliver is trying to run as many of his errands as possible before arriving at Elektra's. He's found his way to the heart of the city, and he's thankful that he's not getting run over by other people shopping.

(ooc: open to all. kisses are welcome! prose or brackets are fine.)

Fred is out and about herself, trying to take advantage of the city around them to find a few more gifts for her friends. After all, she might never be in Paris again -- in whatever form.

Most days, she still has a difficult time actually believing that they're here. In fact, she's let herself fall into standing still again -- simply taking in everything around her.

It's during the middle of Oliver deciding on what to get Elektra and being on his way to actually purchase it when he runs into Fred. His hands move to her shoulders to make sure she doesn't get lost to the flow of traffic.

"Hey, sorry about that."

Fred jerks to a stop, brought back to the present by the two hands on either shoulder holding her firmly in it. She looks up --

And then smiles.

"...Oliver."

December 24th - Evening. Elektra's Place ]

Oliver isn't planning on explaining what all had happened between his hotel room and Elektra's place, but he's more than content to be headed up to knock on her door. He's pretty sure he won't get bombarded by fairies for these last few feet of traveling.

Knocking on the door, he shifts his weight on his feet and puts the bags into his other hand. The annoying paper wrapped handles aren't exactly doing wonders for his hands.

"Elektra, it's Oliver."

"Coming," Elektra sets aside some paperwork she was engrossed with and heads for the door. She unsuccessfully tries to convince herself she doesn't miss foreseeing people arriving and being ready for them along the way. To her credit, Elektra greets him with a smile. "Hi." She notices the bags as she steps aside to open the door wider. "Do you need any help with that?"

He shakes it off and just brushes past her and sets them down.

"All taken care of," he reaches to give her a hug. "Merry Christmas."

Elektra returns to hug. "Merry Christmas." She pulls back a little. "So what's in the bags?" No one can blame her for trying to find out early.

December 25th )( early morning; open to all. kisses welcome. likethetragedy December 29 2011, 03:58:02 UTC
[Elektra has no idea when they are going home. Because of it she makes an effort not to buy anything more than was necessary food wise. As far as Elektra is concerned, she could always order out something for her and Emil if it came down to it. Ordering out breakfast with Oliver, a guest, in her temporary home felt impersonal and lazy on her part especially factoring in the times he had cooked for her.

So she's slipping out in the early morning hours to get some food. Elektra is hoping that if she rushes enough she can make it back and cook before he wakes up. Of course there are going to be some challenges whether they be in the form of people or fairies along the way.]

December 25th )( later in the morning likethetragedy December 29 2011, 04:20:25 UTC
[That early morning shopping trip could have gone better. The important thing was she got everything needed. The castle antics that followed them to Paris didn't mean anything to her. She was here with people she cared about. For now the worst thing that could possibly happen was that she didn't finish cooking before they woke up.

Even that was doubtful given the progress she has managed to make so far. There is a decent stack of pancakes on the counter alongside a plate of sausages and an assortment of bread from the bakery. Right now she is literally counting through the last steps on her fingers before it might become necessary to wake them up.

Warm the syrup, set the table, bring out the orange juice...]

[He likes sleeping in. Paris has let him sleep in, mostly because he didn't patrol the night before. He stretches, waking up slowly to the smell of breakfast. Rubbing his hand over his features, he sits up in bed before getting out of bed to meander toward the smells coming from the kitchen.]

Someone got out of bed quietly.

[Elektra puts her hand down and smiles at him. She could have used a few more minutes but, she was still happy enough to see him up.]

One of many talents. [She goes back to pushing the last couple of pancakes.]

Sit down. If you give me about seven more minutes everything will be perfect.
