Having plans with Elektra for Christmas had been the plan back in the castle. However, now that they were in Paris things had shifted slightly. He should've realized that things wouldn't go as planned, but he had hoped for some consistencies through the holiday. Apparently, the only consistency is the fact that people would be kissing each other in some sort of odd forced friendly, sometimes overly friendly, gesture.
For the moment, Oliver is trying to run as many of his errands as possible before arriving at Elektra's. He's found his way to the heart of the city, and he's thankful that he's not getting run over by other people shopping.
(ooc: open to all. kisses are welcome! prose or brackets are fine.)

Most days, she still has a difficult time actually believing that they're here. In fact, she's let herself fall into standing still again -- simply taking in everything around her.

"Hey, sorry about that."

And then smiles.
"...Oliver."

Oliver isn't planning on explaining what all had happened between his hotel room and Elektra's place, but he's more than content to be headed up to knock on her door. He's pretty sure he won't get bombarded by fairies for these last few feet of traveling.
Knocking on the door, he shifts his weight on his feet and puts the bags into his other hand. The annoying paper wrapped handles aren't exactly doing wonders for his hands.
"Elektra, it's Oliver."

"All taken care of," he reaches to give her a hug. "Merry Christmas."

So she's slipping out in the early morning hours to get some food. Elektra is hoping that if she rushes enough she can make it back and cook before he wakes up. Of course there are going to be some challenges whether they be in the form of people or fairies along the way.]

Even that was doubtful given the progress she has managed to make so far. There is a decent stack of pancakes on the counter alongside a plate of sausages and an assortment of bread from the bakery. Right now she is literally counting through the last steps on her fingers before it might become necessary to wake them up.
Warm the syrup, set the table, bring out the orange juice...]

Someone got out of bed quietly.

One of many talents. [She goes back to pushing the last couple of pancakes.]
Sit down. If you give me about seven more minutes everything will be perfect.
