What: Two days to run into Elektra and Oliver in the city. Plus a bit of time for Elektra and Oliver to celebrate the holiday together.

December 24th - Evening. Elektra's Place ]

Oliver isn't planning on explaining what all had happened between his hotel room and Elektra's place, but he's more than content to be headed up to knock on her door. He's pretty sure he won't get bombarded by fairies for these last few feet of traveling.

Knocking on the door, he shifts his weight on his feet and puts the bags into his other hand. The annoying paper wrapped handles aren't exactly doing wonders for his hands.

"Elektra, it's Oliver."

"Coming," Elektra sets aside some paperwork she was engrossed with and heads for the door. She unsuccessfully tries to convince herself she doesn't miss foreseeing people arriving and being ready for them along the way. To her credit, Elektra greets him with a smile. "Hi." She notices the bags as she steps aside to open the door wider. "Do you need any help with that?"

He shakes it off and just brushes past her and sets them down.

"All taken care of," he reaches to give her a hug. "Merry Christmas."

Elektra returns to hug. "Merry Christmas." She pulls back a little. "So what's in the bags?" No one can blame her for trying to find out early.

His hand settles on the small of her back, glancing down at her, "In the bags would be things that you'll find out about later. Much later."

She feigns a disappointed look. "Can I at least open one at midnight?"

He glances to the bags, then to her face and sighs.

"One, but just one and how dare you assume that I've gotten you more than one thing."

Elektra smiles. She looks very pleased with herself. "It's not an assumption. I know you don't do anything half way. If I only got one gift, it would have to be really impressive."

"Well, now not only do I have to have more than one gift, but they have to be impressive. You're really giving me a lot to live up to here, Elektra."

"I believe in you." Which is true despite her playing around with him. "And don't worry. I have much higher standards for myself when comes to gifts."

"See and now there's even more pressure," he's teasing as well, but it's actually fun to joke around with this topic.

"Don't tell me you can't handle it."

"Oh, I'm going to excel. I can promise that."

"Well until you excel at it want some coffee or tea? I'll start to feel like a bad host trying to get gifts out of you without at least that."

He took a deep breath and nodded, "Coffee would be good. I'm gonna put these away, further away than where you can snoop into them."

He could've left them at his hotel, but he knew that he'd just be bringing them back here anyway. It was easier this way.

"I'm just curious. You act like I'm going to peek the second you put your guard down." Elektra certainly makes it sound like she will as she starts to head to the kitchen area.
