Dairine has been busy studying. New spells, different worlds, anything she can find about Paradisa... There’s a whole library of information to tackle. However, breaks are supposed to help the learning process, or so Spot says. Anything to get her out of the library for a bit.

So she sneaks into the theater before the second film starts. She did say she’d think about it after all, and what harm’s a little movie time. In her arms is Spot, her trusty laptop and wizard’s manual. Dairine looks around the room for an unoccupied seat, something close enough to the snacks but not so close that the movie becomes overbearing.

Sweets is sitting in the middle row, a plate with a pizza slice in one hand, and his soda resting near his feet. Not really the smartest move, but the armchairs in the theater didn't come with cup holders. It's a recommendation he plans to save for another time, but for right now, he's just enjoying the movie as much as he can.

When he sees Dairine, he gives her a wave, more out of courtesy than anything else. He doesn't know who she is on sight, but he is more than capable of being friendly.

Dairine notices and waves back. She doesn’t recognize him, but if he’s waving at her, he’s probably the organizer of this thing. After all, a host usually tries to keep up with all their guests.

She puts her laptop down once she reaches the snack table. Stopping to grab a bag of popcorn and a drink, Dairine makes her way to an open seat not far away. She sits down, and then her computer… climbs into her lap with long metal legs. Seems Spot followed her back from the table! This may be unusual to a casual viewer, but Dairine's unfazed by it. The laptop retracts it’s legs and seems to look up at the screen, though how is anyone's guess.

He definitely notices that. It's something that might make him more curious than anything else, but he will just make a note to ask her about it later. Right now, he's going to focus on simply enjoying the movie.

Daisy was among the first to arrive, fresh from Dr. Brennan's lab. Well, not fresh fresh. She'd had a change of clothes and shower because dissecting the creatures from the expedition had proved to be messy. With her intellectual needs met, it was time for matter of the heart and social interaction!

Her hair is pulled back into a ponytail that bobs and sways as she makes her way over to Sweets. A straight beeline. Only not really. Bees don't make straight lines.

"Lancelot!" Shew as obviously happy to see him, it was written all over that big, bright smile on her face and the way her eyes positively lit up. "What's the movie line up?"

Sweets grinned as he turned to face her. "True Grit, El Dorado and Red River. The first two are Dr. Brennan's favorites. I thought she could use something to cheer her up a bit."

Jet had always been a fan of old westerns, and having heard about the movie night, he figured it was a decent way to spend a Saturday evening and meet some new people. He snuck himself in and took a seat, having grabbed a decent sized serving of popcorn. He took a seat relatively close to Sweet, not really taking note of who it was. Having someone to chat with over a movie was always a plus.

Ray arrived a bit late ... he'd seen Sweets' open invitation, but started tinkering on his workbench to kill time, and gotten sucked into an idea. However, he picks his way over to a row and takes a seat, trying not to make too much of a disturbance. By the time he gets over to the seat next to Jet, he lowers his voice to a whisper:

"Sorry m' late! What'd I miss? Anything?"

"Didn't miss much," Jet responded, tilting his head mildly in Ray's direction. The movie was only about ten minutes in.

"It's a good movie so far, though."

"Ohhhhh, yeah, I think I remember this one." He beams at the familiar scene up on screen, wistfully. "I used to watch these with my Uncle, when we had rainy days on Camp Waconda."

[Conan enters a little late and quietly makes his way to a seat in the back. He yawns slightly as he climbs up into the chair.]

[Sweets will spot him and give him a wave on his way back, before settling in to watch the movie some more.]

[Conan will wave back and settle in to watch the movie. It was interesting at first, picking apart the plot and characters. But about halfway through he will drift off to sleep.]

[Once the first film is finished, Sweets will spot him and make his way to the back to shake him awake]

[No one better ruin these movies with talking, chewing loudly, cell-phones, or anything else -- Mindy would strangle them. She's seated right in the middle of her row and she's got her feet up on the seatback in front of her, popcorn in hand and she's ready for a GOOD movie.]

[Sweets will settle back next to her around movie two, raising a bit of an eyebrow at him]

How's the popcorn?

Stale. [Not really, but she likes to complain today.]
