It was some sort of needling nosiness that had Gunn slipping into Wesley's room. He had just wanted to take a peek; everyone's rooms had turned into something so painfully personal, and really, he just wanted to know if English's was even affected, considering the fact that he didn't live in the castle anymore.

Apparently, it had been.

"Shit," he muttered, starting into the library, not stopping until the woman came into sight. "Shit," he muttered again, more vehemently than before. "Who are you?"

The woman turned to him, then Fred smiled warmly and stood up to greet him, "I know you. Charles..." Shifting to Illyria: "The angry one. Your words are like bile in my mouth."

Oh, that was freaky in a major way. He lifted his shoulders slightly, posture suddenly defensive.

"'Bout to show you angry."

Illyria cocks her head at him, her expression not changing. "You dare to bleat at me. Insolence from a lowly primate. I will not stand for it." Then it morphs back into Fred again. "Awwh, come on, don't be like that. Look, Charles, isn't she just the most adorable thing ever?" She puts a gentle hand on his arm and tries to coax him to look at...the non-existent baby. "She has Wesley's eyes." Then her countenance changes again. It's Lilah who's smiling up at him, but it's more of a cruel smirk. "I'm thinking of offering it up to the Senior Partners."

Elektra hadn't intentionally ended up here. Truthfully she was still thrown off from her own room filled with different doors and passage ways. Not that it really mattered how and why she was here. Once she's arrived, Elektra is too caught up in those tiny hand and footprint trail to leave right away. She ends up following them, counting the steps carefully as she goes along.

It's only when she ends up stacks again and again that she finally stops. Elektra appraises the library with a thoughtful frown. Her intuition is telling her something here needs her attention. The problem was finding it.

Very faintly, in the distance, and only just barely above the ticking of the clocks, is the sound of someone banging weakly on wood and calling out. It's sporadic. Whoever's doing it is not able to sustain it for long.

That was enough for Elektra. She shuts her eyes and focuses her mind on sending her consciousness ahead of her. It's difficult to pinpoint an exact location but, she manages to get a general direction. She races off towards it. "If you can hear me, keep it up," she shouts as she runs.

There's more knocking and a child's muffled voice, it's a bit more frantic now that there seems to be an audience. When Elektra gets closer, she'll be able to tell that the sounds are coming from behind some wooden panelling in the wall behind a bookshelf. She's going to have to get that out of the way first.

Once Lilah had made her way out of her head space, she hadn't bothered going back into it. But as much as she had hated other people invading her like that, it didn't stop her from doing to the same to other people. And of course, one of her first stops was Wesley's room ( ... )

"I know what you mean, it's pathetic." Drawled the Lilah-avatar, moving closer to look the real Lilah up and down, her expensive heels clicking on the hardwood floor. "Seems he can't let go. Not even of you. Sad, really. What a waste."

"Wes isn't the type to just let go. Otherwise, what would he brood about?" Lilah said to her doppelganger in a flippant sort of voice. It was strange, talking to Wesley's version of her in his head. She hadn't expected this.

"What are you doing here? Can't let go yourself?" Lilah's smirk is savagely amused and she crosses her arms, leaning against the edge of the nearest library table.
