Guy stood in front of her door once again, as he had done many times in the past few weeks. He wanted to break down that door like a First Gen on a wild rampage, run in, throw his arms around her and tell her how much he'd missed her and how sorry he was. However, it wasn't so simple. It might've worked when he was in his usual adult form, but as an eight year old? Probably not.

Butterflies were swirling in his stomach furiously - he was terrified of what her reaction to his child form might be. He recalled how upset she was when he explained to her of his loss, and how scared of him she'd been when he was turned into a wolf. Would this be any different? he wondered. There was something else, too - the main reason he'd been avoiding her: he was afraid that seeing him as a child might remind her of what they'd lost (after all, as an eight year old, he did favor their son quite a bit.) He knew she was heartbroken over the loss of their twins (he was upset as well,) and he certainly didn't want to make her even more sad than she already ( ... )

[The door opens cautiously and Marian's kid!face peers out, looking Guy over (she KNOWS it's you, man) and then her eyes are fixated on the flowers in his hand.]

What...? Are those for me, Guy?
