Abel almost tripped over himself twice on the way to the door. The quarters for clergymen were small, and with two beds in the room, it was a tight squeeze - not to mention the fact Cain was hardly the tidiest person in the world to room with, but this was a situation he'd come to terms with quickly enough.
His feet, on the other hand...
He smacked his forehead into the door; a muffled "Ow, ow-- who put this here?" proceeding the inevitable opening.
And a smiling priest offered a warm welcome to one Miss Rose.
"Ah! You made it! I was beginning to worry that I'd given you the wrong address... oh, wait, what time is it? Are you early? Come in, come in! You can just sit anywhere..."
Not that there were many options - either of the beds, or the small chair at the desk being the only plausible choices, not to mention Cain was sitting on the end of one. Cain, his doppelganger, veritable identical twin with blonde hair who'd gone and stolen his glasses.
The mess was not entirely his fault. The small space made it hard to move around or organize his things - which, as he'd found, were few and far between. Shopping had been beyond entertaining. The blonde enjoyed running around and picking up new things from this old world. Hats, suits, interesting new snacks - it seemed as if there was no limit to what he could find. Movies! Oh, what a flashback! This was the sort of world he'd love to live in
( ... )
Rose couldn't help but smile. The small living space seemed actually ideal to the mostly scattered man, a bit cluttered, but it was small.
"I might be 'bit early, but I figured it'd be better to be early, than late."
Making her way into what could be considered the center of the room, Rose smiled, "Take your time though, if you're not ready I don't mind waiting."
Glancing at his gesture, she opted to perch on the edge of one of the small chairs, catching the eye of the other man in the room, who had been reading. Now though, it was very clear why Abel had warned people earlier. It was a bit odd to see just how similar the two of them appeared.
"Hello!" she replied pleasantly, "I'm Rose. You must be Abel's brother, Cain."
