Rose has too many pets to take outside all at once, and thankfully there are ghosts that do these things too! However, she'd heard Growlithe and Don leaving, and was still running around her room looking for another shoe. Alice had it, and was making it her new toy.

That led to Rose taking off the other shoe, and switching to a different pair altogether. Her jacket was on the back of a chair, and she went to grab that, but that was gone too. Turning around in a circle, wondering where it went, only got Vortex to rub against her legs, requiring attention of some sort.

Exhaling she bent down to pick up the small creature, and spotted her coat under her desk, with Apollo sleeping on it. Tugging it free, the little guy looked quite upset, but she just shoved Vortex near him and shook out her jacket.

Glow in the dark fur was everywhere. "Should've just let you have it."

Still she managed to put it on, and head outside where she saw Don and Growlithe. Smiling she moved over toward him, "See? I'm only a little late."

He turned back to her with a smile, as Growlithe trotted over and sat down at their feet, chewing on his ball. He slid an arm around her waist lightly, pulling her closer as a barrier against the cold.

"Yup. But you're never all that late anyway."

Rose watched the dog gnaw away at the ball, "He's going to eat that one of these days."

Resting her head to Don, she leaned in closer, "It's going to get colder again. I'm almost looking forward to the all snow - all the time, if it happens."

He nodded. "And here I don't have to shovel it, so I really don't mind."

He had arrived here in the middle of the snow last year. He figured he'd gotten out of anything because he was injured, but then there was the castle thing too. "You know, no matter what the weather here, it always manages to look gorgeous."
