Leon was leaning against the wall that led to the entrance of the library, his arms crossed lightly as he sorted through the known losses of people he knew, and who exactly had been to Paradisa before, as well. Reading the journal several times over, he knew that Aerith had been here before, as well, and appeared to have left before he did. He wasn't too positive on her loss, though - he'd have to read again in case he missed another entry or a comment.

Speaking of losses, the swordsman was curious as to what exactly Aerith's loss was. It was too much to hope for that it'd be her milk-and-soda concoctions, damnit. Oh well, she'd find out soon enough.

He muttered a curse under his breath as he moved his arm the wrong way, "I hate burns." He looked up as he heard his name being said in a way-too-cheerful way, and shook his head as he pushed himself away from the wall. "Aerith. You're a bit too happy to be here."

Her smile dimmed a bit but it stayed there, her expression softening as the woman stopped just short of standing in front of him. He was right. She did seem a bit too happy for suddenly finding herself someplace new. Someplace that was not home. But she had been trying to convince herself that if she stayed cheerful and optimistic than she wouldn't be afraid.

She had to be strong and smile.

"Maybe I put it on a little too much but...It's better than being scared," the brunette said in reply, arms behind her back and fingers laced together. Because if she was scared then she would worry about everyone else: Cid, Yuffie...the others.

It wouldn't let her start to think that maybe something bad was going on back home and that her friends were in trouble. Being happy helped. Even when put on a little too strong.

"No reason to be scared, either," he stated, watching her for any signs of a physical loss. She could hear him, talked fine, and her sight was alright, as well. So maybe it was an ability of sorts, possibly memories, or even something else physical that no person could identify from the outside.

He thought too much sometimes.

"Anyway, have you done any exploring of the place, or have you just been in your room?" Leon lifted a hand to move some hair from his face. "I should explain a few things, too..."

Her shoulders shrugged a little. Finding yourself in a place that wasn't home was a scary thought; a very worrisome thought as well. But at least Leon was there...it honestly did make her happy to know that he was around. It gave her a bit of hope to think that the others may show up as well.

"Mm-mm." Aerith gave a small shake of her head to his question and took a step towards him, watching him carefully. If there was something wrong she would be sure to try and notice it. "I've just been in my room up until now."

And if he had things to explain, Aerith would listen to him.
