Tseng..Aeris still vividly remembered that day in the Temple of the Ancients - finding Tseng, injured, maybe dying, and hearing him tell them the way. She remembered crying for him - not for long, because they'd had a purpose to fulfill.. but still the tears had come

Truthfully, Tseng wasn't expecting anything. This place had already gone beyond what a person would normally think to expect and Aeris herself had done the same.

Successfully locating the kitchen, Tseng set foot inside the room. Even from the doorway, it was possible to get a good look around and he quickly spotted the familiar figure already there.

Seeing her now, although he hadn't been there to witness her death himself, it was strange to think that she had been dead for over two years - at least to whoever arrived here coming from a point in time around the same as he had done. She seemed no different from the last time he'd seen her.

He, on the other hand, probably did.

Tseng slowly crossed the room to approach the girl. "Aeris," he greeted, then paused for a moment before continuing, "How have you been?"

It took Aeris a moment or two to notice Tseng's arrival. In her determination to distract herself, she'd honestly become distracted. And Tseng was so quiet.. enough so that when she heard his voice, she jumped a little, taken completely by surprise
