Valentine was in luck, because Ten was indeed in his room. Only because Nine had forwarned him, really. Otherwise he would've been out and around and missed out on all of the charade-ity. And that wouldn't have been any fun.

His door was open and he was inside reading over the entries that he'd missed - for one so social he wasn't really into the journal interaction, checked it two or three times a day - donning his specs. He kept glancing out the door, took a longer look when he thought he heard the lift doors open.

He promptly went straight to Ten's room, no hesitation, not a lick. Seeing Ten's door was open, he stuck his head in, unbothered about if he was intruding or the possibility someone had broken in.

"Hello? Ten, stoppin' by to drag you down to Nine's for some hopefully productive charadin'."

His seriousness was promptly gone, replaced with a wide, tooth flashing grin.

Ten grinned as soon as his friend walked in, both at the fact that he'd finally arrived and also because this was the first time he'd seen Valentine with his mask on; this intrigued him. He waved, snapping the journal shut and standing up.

"Yes, I've been expecting you!" He tossed the journal down onto his unmade bed, shooting it a reproachful look as though he'd only just noticed its messiness. Which he probably did.

He strolled over to Valentine, stashing his specs away as an afterthought. "Shall we, then?"

He didn't seem to notice or care about the fact that Ten's bed looked like it had been slept in. More than once. He was a fairly neat person himself, but the bedrooms of other people reflected very little on him, after all.

"Nine told you then? Great!"

Valentine backstepped out of the way and clapped his hands together. "Absolutely!" He dropped his hands to his side promptly after, causing them to be immediately hidden by the sleeves of his robe.

Rose had been having a nice, normal ... completely and utterly boring day in her room just browsing the journal and listening to music while lying on her stomach on top of her quite pink duvet. That was until she heard a knock on the door.

And someone sounding more than a little suspiciously like the Doctor, Ten, claiming to be room service. Right. Room service. Like she'd believe that one. The ghosts were always silent when they brought food anyway.

She rolled over and got up, turning off her music player before heading to the door. After a bit of quick fussing to make sure she was at least somewhat presentable she opened the door.

Yep, definitely who she thought it would be. But what was Valentine doing here?

She raised one eyebrow. "All right, what's all this about then? If it involves the woods I think I'll pass."

Valentine flashed Rose a grin and waved. "No woods! Just a trip down to Nine's room for some discussion. And charading."

He nodded. Charading. To him, it sounded perfectly normal. Valentine then shoved his hands into his trouser pockets and leaned forward onto his toes, making him appear a tad bit taller.
