Katara was hurt. She'd been fighting with Zuko, but now she was lying on the ground, not moving. "Katara!" Aang's eyes grew wide at the sight, his fight with Azula forgotten for the moment.

In that instant, everything else seemed unimportant. Katara was hurt.

Worry and fear and a surge of anger hit Aang all at once. His eyes and the arrow-shaped markings on his skin began to glow as the air around him whirled into a fierce gust of wind, picking up rocks and grass and hurling them in all directions.

Katara couldn't remember how long she had been knocked out. Her body laid still and unmoving on the cold ground, but being a waterbender.. She subconsciously soaked up water from the grass and rain, and miraculously healed herself after having been struck by lightning. That's right! He-

".. Zuko?!" she cried out, sitting up abruptly, pressing a hand to her head from the sudden movement. She was a little dizzy, and waited to refocus before she glanced around at her surroundings. Something had triggered Aang to go into the Avatar State! It was raining a lot now ..

She was soaked and there was a lot of damage.

Katara winced as she tried to stand.. Her body was far too weak. "Aang! Aang.." she tried to call out to him, but her voice couldn't reach him. She had to calm him somehow!

Zuko's head snapped over to the weak waterbender when his name was uttered. Had she completely forgotten? How sad! He chuckled darkly, completely unlike his usual soft timbre of voice before he stood before the waterbender with an amused smirk on his face.

"Did you pass out?" he asked with a soft tone of voice, looking at her with mock worry. "Because you should have stayed out longer!" he said with anger, a line of fire drawn from his head to hips to begin a firewhip.

Katara turned when she heard Zuko speaking to her, and even though his voice was soft, his eyes were taunting her. She gasped and rolled out of the way when he began to form that firewhip, immediately standing up... But Katara had more important things to worry about than fighting Zuko now.

"Out of my way, Zuko!" She shot her arm in his direction, sending a powerful wave of water. She exhaled and the water froze, encasing his legs in ice as she ran past him. Katara didn't bother looking back at him. She just kept running as much as her legs allowed, towards the Avatar.

Aang needed her.

At his kiss, Suki's internal world began to crumble. Her manufactured memories began to clash violently with her true ones--When they met in Paradisa, the nights they had spent baking cookies and talking, when he held her during the murders--the first time they kissed.

When she told him how she felt under the full moon and they--

She gently pulled away, and met his eyes. They no longer held any violence or animosity. In fact--she seemed close to kissing him again. But she was still...

she was still confused. What did this mean? Who was she?

She looked pleadingly into Sokka's eyes.

Sokka breathed heavily when they pulled away, and he stared back into her eyes. He was half-expecting disgust or something similar, and was caught off guard at the pleading look. The sounds of battle occupied the back of his mind, and so many questions occupied the front. He opened his mouth.

Could he say it?

"I-" he choked a little. At this point, he didn't care how she responded or how badly he would get hurt afterwards. He tried to recall any time he had told her exactly how much he cared for her, and he didn't remember any time at all.

"I love you."

With those words, the stranglehold of Azula's brainwashing fell away from her brain--almost as if she had been dunked in cold water, or suffered a gentle shock--in any case, her mind was clear and the memories came flooding back.

"A-azula capture me and..there was this...this flashing light..." She murmered this almost under her breath. "I'm...I'm a Kyoshi warrior of the Earth Kingdom...Azula tried to kill me before and...here...I met you..." She looked up to meet Sokka's eyes, her expression a mix of sadness and joy.

"And I fell in love."
