Who: Paine and Rikku. What: Chillin' like villains! Minus the villainy part. When: After this convo. Where: Eighth floor! Rating: G? D: it won't go stronger than PG-13!
It didn't take much to occupy Rikku as she waited for Paine. She took out a sphere she had in her pocket and rolled it around as if it were a ball. It wasn't an important one, no.
This place wasn't so bad. Aside from the aliens and the random people from other worlds, it wasn't too different from Spira from what she could tell. Which wasn't much, but she got a good feeling from this place.
Plus she liked the idea of have anything you want to eat.
"Gullwings go~ La la la la la~ Gullwings fight! La la la la!" Curse Shinra.
Walking down the hallway, Paine heard Rikku before she saw her. She winced. That damn song. If you could even call it a song. More like a tune, right? Either way, it was pretty bad. Or maybe just unoriginal.
Nah, it was bad.
Paine strolled up to her friend, affecting a bored expression. "Practicing?" she asked drolly. Her eyes went from Rikku's face to the sphere then back again. She thought about asking which one it was then figured if it was that important, all the more to annoy the boys back home.
Rikku glanced up at the other girl and gave her a cheery smile. "Hey~!" She was glad to see that same ol' sullen look she'd come to know and love.
The young Al Bhed rose from her position and stretched as if she had been sitting there forever. "You're outfit's cute~" Rikku commented as she looked at the simple clothes her friend had on. "It's very Paine~"
At the compliment, Paine lifted an eyebrow slightly then shrugged it off. "Yeah, thanks."
A thought occurred to her and she couldn't help but smirk. Resting a hand on her hip, she asked, "You want your first stop to be the kitchens or are you still 'tired'?"
