Not so very long ago, Drizzt had been standing in the middle of an unfamiliar room, confused and disoriented, with no idea as to how he had gotten there or where he was. It had been an unpleasant feeling, and though he was still not fully accustomed to Paradisa, he had gained enough familiarity with it to have passed beyond such feelings. Remembering them, he hastened up the stairs toward the newcomer's residence, intent upon relieving any worries the feline might have ( ... )

“Good day to you both.” The cat purred in a tone that did little to show his inner eagerness. He rose from his place with a languid stretch and a yawn that flashed tiny, perfectly white needle teeth set in a vividly pink mouth. Settling on his haunches, he tucked his inky black tail around his paws with a dignified air, and turned his attention to the strange pair. The elf, Drizzt, was an amusing sight; purple eyes, white hair, skin as dark as night. Certainly more interesting than most of the humans he came across, but no where near as enthralling as the panther that accompanied him ( ... )
