Wrong? Almost everything's wrong in this place. Being here is wrong, Squall thought. He leaned against the wall, flipping through the journal. Same old, same old. People still killing those things even though there seemed to be an endless number. Questions of what the hell was going on. What they could do, if anything.
He flipped back, frowning as he thought. Why is she asking? I don't really need one. In fact, what he was doing at the moment-absolutely nothing-could be considered as a break. He pushed away from the wall and started walking again, writing back.
Halfway to the front hall he saw Selphie's own reply. He jotted something down. Is there something wrong with me…? He didn't feel any different, other than his temper being readier than usual. Whatever. I should probably eat… He couldn't remember the last time he had; he hadn't been feeling very hungry.
He changed direction, now heading towards the library as he finally wrote his agreement. Maybe she's the one who needs a break. She's the CPVC President; people are looking to her and Leon for instructions. Something he could identify with. He didn't envy their positions, but it felt good to be busy.
Reaching the library, he put away his journal and pen, slipping inside. He looked around, wondering if she'd made it before him.
