HOLY CARP WOMAN!!!

How much you wanna bet that when they DID try to get the records is the day the old company nuked them? Or they came in expecting a transition period, old employees there to show the new ones the ropes SOP for transitions and the new employees came it to a wrecked office, no databases, no phones ect?

I know my roomie would say "F them get out." But I gotta agree with you here, these poor people got stuck with a pile of turds and need to polish it into something decent.

Holy crap, that's a lot to have gone through. What a mess.

Glad you got to your cats, and I hope things get straightened up for you ASAP.

Sounds like the new management is doing it's best in a bad situation. Just wish you could have found out about the lock before it was to late that night to do anything about it.

Yeah. They're being so accommodating cos they know you can file suit against them, and they're trying to avoid being legally required to pay even more.

Leave in a hurry = DEFINITELY shady. What I'd do is file a civil lawsuit against previous management. You've got a lot documented just here on your journal, and no doubt your fellow tenants have their share of complaints as well. Make contact with them and see what some joint action can do.
