Lente's Point Expedition - Night 1

[The day begins to come to a close as the expedition presses on. The coming darkness is even more obvious in the dim light of the canopy, and it soon becomes clear enough that a halt would have to be called.

Felix kicks his horse forward so that he's near the head of the group. Hopefully, with people wandering off here and there to investigate they'

Heh. I think I might just be looking for things to clutter my desk with. I have to have research notes on something piled around, you know?

Ah, a man after my own heart! There's little point in a desk if it's not covered in papers and files. Why have a surface for things to sit on if it's gonna be clean all the time?

[someone wants to be helpful, so she's up and about, picking up peices of fire wood and whistling humming while she works. And if she happens to pass by anyone she'll wave as best she can (arms full of firewood, makes it difficult)]

Oh! [she shakes her head] I'm fine! But thank you for offering.

I am. [fffff but she's not going to stop them, so she just shakes her head a bit and smiles, BOYS ARE SO SILLY]

Um... have you been doing well?

I'm alright. [ being on the expedition, he can focus on this and not other things like when he's back in the castle. the only thing he might be anxious about is the fact he might wake up in the middle of the night here... ]

What about you? It's been a long time since we went on an expedition together.

It has been a long time! [she giggles a bit] I don't think I realized that I missed them so much. It's so nice to see everyone together.

Yeah. It's great to see the same people still on these expeditions.

But there are a lot of new people too! Hopefully we'll be able to discover new kinds of things. [although she feels acutely the loss of people like Raine :(]

It's a great turnout as usual. [ he'll put the firewood down... wherever it needs to go. ] I wonder what's out here this time.
