Lente's Point Expedition - Night 1

[The day begins to come to a close as the expedition presses on. The coming darkness is even more obvious in the dim light of the canopy, and it soon becomes clear enough that a halt would have to be called.

Felix kicks his horse forward so that he's near the head of the group. Hopefully, with people wandering off here and there to investigate they'

Hmm... I'm not sure if an apple-peach would work. The textures are very different.

[as is Ray. he is SO NOT USED to all of this walking around. and having had to leave the carts has hurt his feelings substantially. he'll plop down nearby with a heavy, relieved sigh]

[eyes mostly down on his notes--gotta look busy after all--but he does spare Ray a quick glance as he takes a seat]

And that is what makes keeping track of a big noisy yellow birds worth it.

In the stable, actually. He's gone with me on every expedition since then.

[Jack's not used to so many people writing stuff down about explorations. Usually the sort of adventures he's on don't allow time for that sort of thing.]

[Jack takes a seat next to him, not waiting to be invited and not really thinking about the possibility of not being welcome.]

No, I'm just a little surprised by how many people are already taking notes on the first day.
