[have a Lyra, running around EVERYWHERE in the Castle, followed by a Pan in various songbird forms. She's trying to find Alucard's door... eventually. After she makes sure she knows her way around everywhere else. Starting on the first floor, then the regular floors, then back down and up the towers...

and she has the words "I am Eve" in firey

[trails off, tilting his head]

Hmm... [pulls it out, and asks why she has writing on her forehead. Really...

Pause...]

Something about my destiny, and I'm not supposed to know, and I shouldn't ask.

[raises his brows] An enigmatic answer if there ever was one.

[looks at the writing again] Well, I suppose it isn't doing any harm.

Yeah... I mean, I could've turned into a bird or something - that would be much worse.

Really? You don't think it would have been interesting?

[quietly] What would Pan be?

[lifeandliesof]

[oh. he looks at Pan, and hte look in his eyes softens]

There's no telling what Paradisa would do; it might leave him as a daemon, or turn him human.

[they look at each other for a minute...]

That... would be very strange.

I'm curious; you're both connected, correct? Are you able to leave each other's presense?

Not really. If we pull we could maybe stand at either end of the hall.

[nod] And it's the same for all daemons and humns in your world?

Except witches. Witches' daemons can be far away from them.

[Pan gives an involuntary shudder, and then sets about preening his feathers back into place.]

Ah, witches. You mentioned them.

It's unpleasant, then, to be separated?

It's... unnatural. For those who aren't witches, anyway.
And it hurts, to pull. Like you're being stretched and your heart's being ripped out at the same time.
