[Kitchen-goers may notice a red light on the end of an antenna, poking out of the slightly-open fridge door. Olimar is inside, dictating to his journal:]Even on an ordinary day, the variety of foodstuff in Cair Paradisa is astounding! I estimate over thirty condiments of varying composition, as well as a plethora of grains, vegetables and meat

[a wild loli appears! With her trusty parasol, she's heading to the kitchen in hopes of finding something decent to eat, but she stops in her tracks when she hears a voice and see the red light in the fridge, and once again speaks in that haughty voice.]

... just what are you doing?

It remains to be seen whether the Verdant Myceold spreads with spores, as do other molds. Perhaps such spores would be an additional food source for some castle inhabitants? Or would they be merely a contaminant?

[Tiny spaceman in the fridge is oblivious. The antenna light slips inside the fridge door as he digs farther in.]

[she just kind of has this snobby 'wtf r u doin?' look as she peers into the fridge, narrowing her eye. She is mildly tempted to just close the door on him and get something from the cupboard instead, but...]

Again. What are you blabbering about? Better yet, why are you in the fridge? There are plenty of stupid things outside for you to examine if you're that bored.

[Olimar startles as the door opens, and looks up at her.]

Oh? I was simply investigating the natural diversity of this castle. Am I obstructing your way, goodness, pardon my intrusion if that is the case!

[someone's perched on the table behind him, munching on a chilidog and watching with a slightly curious and mostly amused expression]

... Wow, can't say I've seen this before. [munch]

[Olimar emerges from the fridge, holding a tub of ... something with an alarmingly green mold growth on its surface. This scary thing has him absolutely riveted.]

And in yellow sunlight, its colouration is yet different! Remarkable! This species seems to have developed bioluminescence in response to its poorly lit environment.

[stops chewing to stare in confusion] ...

Or... you know, it just looks different in natural light compared to the fridge light.

[A momentary glance up. Ah, hello person, how good of you to join him!]

A mere optical illusion? That is possible! [He tips the container, examining it.] This may need further study in a controlled environment.

[sweatdrops^n] Sir, you should get that out of the fridge!

As I venture farther into the-- hmm? Get it out? Do you think this lifeform may pose some danger to the Paradisa populace? A disquieting thought!

Yes, it will! People get sick from eating that kind of thing! [unless it's blue cheese, of course]

I should hope no one would eat an unidentified fungal growth! However, some people have very adventurous palettes ... A certain coworker comes to mind.

Hmm. At the risk of taking someone's delicacy, I suppose I should remove this. Then I shall have the opportunity to study it further!
