Stantz-a Claus is comin' to town

[it took a lot of time with the phone directory and a map of Paris, and a lot of wrapping paper, and such, but Ray finally managed to get his game plan together. early Christmas morning - around 4 AM - he hauled his butt out of bed, downed a cup of coffee, left Spike sleeping on his couch, and headed out to do his Christmas deliveries.

not only is he delivering gifts to his friends, but he's also clandestinely leaving the things that the children of Paradisa asked for - and in a few cases, for their friends.

For Nora Diniro: a wooden box with a full set of colored pencils.
For Mark Hunter: a VHS of "The Lunch Society".
For Eleven: a bow tie in a pearlescent shade of purple that shimmers in the right light.
For Conan: a large magnifying glass.
For Hiccup: a big box of thick drafting pencils.
He'd tried to wish up a picture of Apollo's daughter, but it wasn't happening. He hopes the Castle will be kind enough to leave him one for Christmas, though. All the above gifts are marked "With love, from Goku and Santa Claus".
For Goku, himself: a tribble adopted from the Fairyland Animal Centre before the castle shifted over. There are notes on the care of it - which are ridiculously simple. Enjoy your first pet, kiddo.
For Edward: a very very very large box of cookies of all shapes and flavors, culled from various bakeries over the past couple of days.
All the kids who replied to his Santa posts but didn't actually submit letters still get something: a bundle of peppermint sticks and ribbon candy, tied to the back of a small stuffed reindeer with a bell around its neck. the bell can be taken off and worn as a bracelet or what have you.

if you happen to be up in the wee hours of the morning, you might catch him bundled up against the cold as he's dropping boxes on doorsteps.

if you're not a morning owl, and happen to be headed in the vicinity of one particular cafe later in the afternoon, you're certainly welcome to find him downing some more coffee and looking over the journal for happy Christmas news]

Hey, everyone, Merry Christmas! Hope you're all enjoying yourselves in the City of Lights! I know I am. Is anyone getting together for a big Christmas dinner somewhere? Maybe we should - even if it's at a restaurant somewhere.

((OOC: Here's the chance to get your gift from Ray, if he left you something in the meme! And even if he didn't - well, tag in and he'll probably come up with something. He's just that kind of a guy.))
