Regarding Paradisa, or the outside world, or both?

Names, available locations, time frame, general summary of interactions.

Your records are not as organized as I would have liked.

Have you read Lois Lane's summary to date?

Yes. Heard portions of it were outdated.

As far as record keeping goes, she's the best we've got, but we could probably stand to put in a more consistent effort.

Who is this?

I'm Asano Rin. I can offer you some tidbits of information but unfortunately there's not much of a cohesive whole.

Interested in anything you have to offer, cohesive or not.

The dead zone is not totally beyond the castle's power, but technology and magic doesn't work out there. However, Paradisa, the world itself, still seems to have its own magic. There's a race of spider people living out there called the Arachne and a race of bird people known as Giovani, which may or may not be native, with the possibility that they're transplants like us who moved out of where they were grabbed and went native instead. The world of Paradisa does have its own creatures and native life, which can be pretty dangerous - the area of power surrounding the castle can also be manipulated as to its extent to at least some degree. There's a population of old castle residents who've moved outside to the Dead Zone and survive there now. They call themselves the Free Peoples, we call them first gens. Residents used to be able to communicate with the castle but they can't anymore.

[oh. that's interesting. there's some pen tapping, and he underlines that final sentence.]

Clarify. First Generations communicating with current residents, or residents communicating with the castle itself?

First gens - or possibly residents even before them - communicating with the castle, somehow. It doesn't seem to talk to us on any kind of a regular basis, sooo... things seem to have changed around a bit.

We do have sporadic and sometimes not very friendly contact with the First Gens ourselves. They're secretive and split into factions.

I don't suppose any of them were kind enough to share how they managed to talk to a building?
