[ Helen may have promised to rest but it was impossible to do so when there were things on your mind. She'd waited until James had gone to the clinic before leaving their room, looking floor by floor until she found River's room. It was exhausting, a little sickeningly so but this was something that she needed to do in person - even with everything that was going on.

Helen had seen the flashes, thought she'd seen more but couldn't put her mind to it as she walked through the corridor that had become River's mind. She wasn't interested in looking around, not wanting to pry into someone else's privacy just merely find the woman. Testing one of the doors Helen walked through it as opened, briefly allowing herself to take in her new surroundings before continuing. She was curious, naturally, but she wouldn't ask. [River looks up from her book at the sound of a familiar voice. Her movement was so sudden that her mass of unruly blonde curls seemed to sway far longer then usual. A visitor? In her own head? How....unusual]

Helen? What brings you here of all places?

I was looking for you, actually. I'm curious as to whether I've found you or a manifestation of that. [ Would River know what happened in her mind if she wasn't there? ]

I think it's perhaps a bit of both. I have memories of who you are, but you are speaking to my mind, not my physical body.

[She motions to her cell]

I'm sorry, I can't exactly make you comfortable here. I'd put on some tea if I could.

But it is still you. [ And hopefully the Paradisa River, not any previous past form of her ]

That's quite alright, I wasn't planning on staying long. [ Invasion of her mind and all ]

The person I spoke to a few days previous. [ It was reassuring ]

It is a little more private, however. [ Considering her own room had her memories completely on display... at least River's had the opportunity of interpretation ] I was hoping to ask something of you.

[The door to her cell swings open when she touches it and she stands to lean against the open doorway]

I'm going to take a wild guess. Does this favor have anything to do with James?

It does, as a matter of fact. [ She wasn't sure whether to be glad or worried that River was so in tune ]

I'd like for you to keep an eye on him, to help him even if he refuses or claims otherwise. James is stubborn, and does things for others over paying attention to himself.
