[guess who has finally found out that there's a library here? it only took WAY too long for her to hear about it. there's so much she doesn't know about the world -- her world, and other peoples' worlds, and it was really starting to frustrate her

I'm interested in a lot of things! Painting, sewing, botany, pottery... But I guess what I'm looking for here are things that I haven't learned about yet... I want to learn as much as I can about anything, basically! Do you have any suggestions?

I like stories about ancient history and stuff, personally, but I don't know if that's your thing. What have you always wondered?

[she pauses, thinking....] I guess... Well, I always wondered about what was out there beyond my tower and the forest, but I could never start with that, because I don't even know what's beyond it --

[oh, fux. she totally didn't mean to blurt that all out.... word vomit. she just looks at cassie like this]

[Tony just finished the book he'd been in the middle of before he came to paradisa. To the library!]

Never seen a library before? [Chuckles.]

[turns to look at tony, grinning] Nope. First time ever! [she looks all dreamy...] Isn't it wonderful?

Yeah actually. It's pretty great.

Mhmm! I wonder how the castle gets so many books, of so many different kinds... Who writes them? Who brings them here? I wonder if anyone in the castle is an author; maybe they contributed some.

[ he's, uh, kind of dragging a huge ass bookcase.... he stops for a moment, though, to give Rapunzel a funny look ]

I'm rearranging the library. [ what does it look like he's doing? ]

SOME TIME LATER...

[He's pushing open the door, carrying a stack of books that he's planning to return to the library after borrowing them. The library is his favourite room in the castle, but living in the city makes using it properly just impossible :[ He's completely oblivious to the fact that anyone else is in here]

[and not too far away from arthur, there is a rapunzel sprawled out on the floor, stacks and stacks and stacks of books around her... she's currently reading about the world and its geography... her braid is on the floor...]

[The pile of books is pretty high, and honestly even if he can still see, the last place he was planning to be looking is the floor. Especially since people know better than to leave books thrown around in the wake of Raine Sage's departure. His eyes are carefully trained on the genre sections and then he steps on it. Some thing, gooshy mass that snags onto the toe of his boot.

...And doesn't unsnag when he steps forward, tripping him and sending all of his books on a one way trip to the floor, desperately he tries to catch his balance and manages to steady himself...Only to tangle the rest of his foot in this mass and get turned about on his trip to the ground, flailing arms manage to catch his elbows onto a shelf stopping his fall, butt inches from touching the ground.

the next thing rapunzel knows is that her head is being pulled back... and there's weight on it, and omg there's a book hitting her face AHAHAHHA and a couple of more falling beside her. she brings her arms over herself, and lets out a shriek

[Chase is definitely not in the library on purpose. He's just exploring the Castle, trying to figure out where everything is, when OH LOOK A PRETTY GIRL.

Sooo he heads over, shooting her his most charming smile (which may or may not be so charming).]

Hey. What're all these books for?

[BOOKS ARE FOR COOL PEOPLE. she turns around and gives chase a friendly smile back thinking this guy kind of reminds her of flynn for some reason skjdhkjsd]

Hi! [she pauses, then laughs] I'm pretty sure that all these books are meant for reading! If that's what tickles your fancy.

[YES SCORE. He laughs, leaning over to read the covers of some of them.]

Studying was never really my thing.
