[It's a normal night in Caritas. People are badly slaughtering well known classics, while other people drunkly listen to them, somehow thinking they're the best singers who ever lived. Same old show as usual. Lorne winces as someone hits a particularly bad high note]

I know, honey, as for the music part? It's kinda debatable. We just need to smile and hope they get so drunk they forget they're in a karaoke bar before they pick a new song.

Look who's venturing into Caritas! She heard the music over her journal, someone has an open journal somewhere, and decided to check it out because... What else does she have to do, really. And she's walking in, nosing around and... Not really quite sure ]

[ While she may not recognise the face she goes across to him at his gesture, and then recognises the voice. And the naming. He'll get a little smile in place of a greeting ]

[Spike's just here for the booze, but he glances over at Lorne when he speaks.]

That's the problem with completely open karaoke. Can't be sure of quality.

And it sure is a problem when you got people who've never heard of Ringo Starr.
